To ensure transparency around Ducklings fees, please find information as follows:
The Government early years funding provides eligible parents in England with funded childcare hours for children aged nine months up to four years. This includes 15 hours for eligible two-year-olds and up to 30 hours for eligible working parents of children from the term after they are nine months old. Any approved FEEE funding you receive can be used to cover the approved number of hours towards your child’s sessions at Ducklings. Please note session times are:
- 9am – 12 noon
- 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Ducklings accepts children aged between two and four years old.
For children staying at Ducklings all day (9am – 3.30pm), there is an additional daily charge of
£10.00
per full day. This £10.00 is to cover the 30-minute lunch break between the AM & PM sessions. FEEE funding cannot be applied to this 30-minute break, as the lunch break falls outside of Ducklings two session times. However, it is optional for the children to stay at Ducklings for lunch to eat their packed lunch; children can be collected at noon for the lunch break if preferred then returned at 12.30pm for the afternoon session.
There is a voluntary snack contribution of
£2.00
per full day / £1.00 per session, towards the children’s AM & PM snack.
No children are excluded from snack, regardless of whether a contribution has been made or not.
Example day
AM session £24.00
Lunch Cover £10.00
PM session £24.00
Snack contribution £2.00
Full day's fees £60.00
We request a voluntary snack contribution of £1.00 per session. The snack will be available to all children whether the contribution has been paid or not.
